My Story

I've been making things for as long as I can remember. It started with learning  & creating music, having sketchbooks that I filled cover to cover from drawings with my siblings sitting around the kitchen table, making short films to entertain my family. What began as instinct became a craft, and that craft became a career in visual storytelling.

Experience

At The White Hart Café in downtown Lynchburg, I worked my way up from barista to Social Media Manager, taking ownership of the café's brand voice and online presence. I developed and executed a content strategy rooted in the character of the downtown community — photography, video, and design that felt authentic to the space. The results: 26k Reel and post views, up 52% in a single month, with 44% of views reaching new audiences.

As a communications intern at Gospel Community Church, I create graphic design, photography, videography, and social media content for a large and engaged community — sharpening my skills in content planning, brand consistency, and telling stories that serve a mission bigger than myself.

How I Work

Every project starts with inspiration — something small in the world, or work I've seen and admire and kept in the back of my mind. I sit with it: taking notes, sketching, letting the idea find its shape. Then I experiment freely, treating mistakes as part of the process. With every creation I challenge myself to learn something new.  The final stretch is where I'm happiest — refining the details that make a piece feel finished. It's equal parts discipline and experimentation.

Beyond the Work

When I'm not designing or shooting, I'm usually writing and producing music by ear, painting, refurbishing furniture, or learning something new just to see if I can. I believe curiosity is a professional skill — it's what keeps my work fresh.

Let's Create Together

I'm currently open to freelance projects and full-time opportunities. If you have a project in mind — or just want to talk ideas — I'd love to hear from you.
